News about the Ostrava Days 2007 New Music Institute and Festival, a co-production between the S.E.M. Ensemble and the Ostrava Center for New Music, can be found at www.ocnmh.cz. This year's festival will run August 26-September 1.

* S.E.M. Ensemble needs volunteers! Interest in the performance and advancement of new and experimental music is essential. Volunteers/Interns work directly with the Managing Director and Artistic Director, on the following tasks, among other things: Set up and preparation of rehearsals and performances; assisting with publicity, advertising, mailings; photocopying, binding, etc – to help maintain SEM’s library of parts and scores; other work as needed such as data entry, running errands, website maintenance.
